Harvest Moon Vow Renewal
When most people think of the Pacific Northwest, they think of rain, mountains, evergreens, and lots of grey. Yes, it definitely has all of those things, but Oregon is also home to so many other beautiful climates. One of my favorites is the high dessert, east of the Cascades. Beautiful for the clear skies and vast openness, it was the perfect place for this harvest moon vow renewal in September.
We contributed wooden place numbers, a hand-painted fabric banner for the head table, menus, agate place cards, and stationery. In these pieces, we were inspired to balance the rich warmth of the landscape with the crispness of an autumn night.
The stationery included a floral moon illustration, which was converted into a crest for the menus. Digitally printed on thick blotter paper with a deckled bottom edge, the suite felt luxurious without being too extravagant. A deep burgundy envelope liner included a metallic floral print design, and the place card and envelopes had matching metallic calligraphy. A black wax seal finished off the invitations.
Our “To the Moon and Back” fabric banner in grey also called back to the harvest moon theme, and clean and simple wooden table numbers built off the rustic and raw textures throughout the event. Other details like the lush tablescapes and their adorable dog made this one to remember.
