terms and conditions
By purchasing one or more of our semi-custom packages, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
We have designed all pieces in our collection suites thoughtfully and carefully. We customize invitation wording, printing method and color, paper choice and color, and envelope color to you and your day. We do not offer any major changes in layout, size, or artwork. If you would like to explore options that are not offered in our collection, we recommend inquiring about custom stationery.

embellishments & addressing
Upon ordering one of more of our semi-custom packages, we will email you within 1 to 2 business days to discuss embellishments, addressing, and color options. If you choose to add addressing or embellishments, we will send you an invoice for the additions. We also ask clients to sign a contract when ordering calligraphy or printed addressing.
Once you place an order, we will follow up within 1 to 2 business days to discuss embellishments, addressing, and color options. When those details are confirmed, we will send a digital proof within 2 to 5 business days. One round of revision is included after the initial proof. This revision can include minor adjustments to calligraphy, text, and color. Further rounds of revision will result in an additional charge. These additional rounds and/or any delays in response on your end may affect timelines and delay your order.
Once your proof has been approved, we immediately begin production. If ordering addressing, we will request your guest list while your stationery is being printed. When your stationery is complete and assembled, we will ship it to you, and email you tracking information. Timelines will vary depending on your printing method, paper choice, and any embellishments or addressing you order. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your order if timelines are too short. In the event we cannot complete your order, we will offer a refund. We take pride in offering products and services that utilize handmade and handcrafted pieces, because we believe so much character, life, and story is added to the end product by using them. Because they are made or done by hand, there may be slight variations in handmade paper size, shape, and color, print colors, calligraphy ink colors, and calligraphy addressing. Please note that colors often appear differently on screens than in person.
mailing your invitations
USPS practices and guidelines vary across the country, so we always recommend physically taking your invitations to the post office for delivery. If you are including calligraphy addressing, ribbons, wax seals, or other embellishments that change the shape/thickness of your envelope, we recommend adding postage for an extra ounce ($0.70 total), and requesting your invitations to be hand cancelled. Some post offices will do this service for you, and others will give you a rubber stamp and ask that you hand cancel them in the office. In either event, we are not responsible for any invitations that are not delivered or lost in the mail.
Shipments of all stationery and calligraphy services are insured for their value prior to sending. Depending on the size and weight of your package, different shipping methods will be used. If you have a preference of carrier or speed of shipping, please let us know. We are not responsible for any loss, delays, or damages during shipping.
Returns & Exchanges
Due to the custom nature of our collection, all orders are non-refundable and not eligible for exchanges, returns, or cancellations beyond the point of digital proof approval. If a return or exchange is requested prior to the approval of the digital proof, 50% of your total paid amount will be refunded.
In the unlikely event that we are injured or become too ill to complete the order, we will make every effort to secure a suitable replacement designer/calligrapher. If the situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received. If you do not want the us to find a replacement, the you may choose to receive a refund instead.
All disputes arising will be resolved through mediation. If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute will be submitted to binding arbitration.
We respect your privacy. The personal information that you provide will only be used to communicate with you and to complete your order. We will never share or sell your information to any third party.
We love sharing our work on our social platforms, however always maintain client privacy. “Sneak peek” photos may be shared prior to your wedding date, but will hide the date and/or location of your event. After the wedding date, the full invitation may be shared, but no addresses will be shown in full. If you would prefer that your stationery not shared on social media, please let us know.
Caitlin O’Bryant and Caitlin O’Bryant Design retains the rights to any and all stationery designs created, custom or semi-custom, including all artwork and images. These designs, images and artworks may not be used for personal use, reproduction, the creation of derivative works, or any other purpose. If you would like to use a piece of your invitation, i.e. a venue illustration or monogram, in another part of your wedding or for personal use, please let us know and we will give you a quote for an limited or unlimited use license.
